Welcome to the official website of the Quezon City Jail - Male Dormitory (QCJMD), an institution under the administration of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP).
In line with the BJMP's national mandate, the QCJMD is committed to the humane safekeeping and comprehensive developmental opportunities for all Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) under its care. We serve as a temporary haven for male individuals undergoing trial or serving short-term sentences in Quezon City.
Our facility is dedicated to upholding justice and promoting the well-being of our residents through professional jail management and various transformative programs, ultimately aiming to facilitate their positive reintegration into society as productive citizens.

Mandates and Functions
BJMP is mandated to direct, supervise and control the administration and operation of all district, city and municipal jails nationwide with pronged tasks of safekeeping and development of PDL.

Jail Best Practices and Accomplishment
The BJMP Quezon City Jail Male Dormitory (QCJMD) has consistently been recognized for its commitment to enhancing jail management, security, and the welfare of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).
Continuing Activity
The livelihood program presents income-generating activities to PDL during their confinement where they are able to earn for their personal upkeep and for financial support to their families.

The Bagong Daan ng Pag-asa Church conducts Medical and Dentalmission PDLs with medical referrals fromthe Health Service Unit.
